Why The Switch?

Why the switch in web hosts? Well, without naming my old web host, they were not growing at all in an arena that is in constant change. I was with them since early 2012 and during that time, no new changes were made. I was hoping for a new look but the templates that were available seem to date back to the early 2000. I really don't know code nor do I wish to learn, so tried    (with a lot of cutting and pasting) to get a design that I liked. I then watched it all fall apart when I looked at the site with my phone.

Three breakthroughs with this new web host will explain, in full, of why I switched. First of all, my art samples are displayed from top to bottom on your viewing screen, not a little slide show in the middle of the page. Second, I am connected to all the main social media sites. One feature in particular is my twitter feed can be seen on the bottom of this page with a button that allows the viewer to follow.

Finally, this blog space is totally awesome. I can send out news or update projects. I am very excited by this feature's potential. Please use the comment section at the end here and let me know what you think of the new website.

Welcome!

Thanks for visiting my new website.

My interest in digital art came shortly after being introduced to the wacom tablet in late 2010. I had really no interest in creating shapes using a mouse and earlier attempts with pen tablets lacked the pressure sensitivity that is necessary to mimic actual drawing.

Now I am hooked and getting better at it everyday. Check back with me often and watch as my work evolves.
